Conquest Beacons are a unique block available to build and use on planets. Players can build a Conquest Beacon on a static grid within planetary gravity to lay claim to a 100km area (and broadcast to the same distance.)
A Conquest Beacon will generate a “value” based on the area it covers and what is within that territory out to 10km from the grid, and every ten minutes rewards are placed into that grid's inventory based on the value of the Conquest Beacon.
When attempting to turn your Conquest Beacon on, it will check for any other existing Conquest Beacons within 100km. If any are present, it will not activate until they are removed. It will likewise deactivate if another Conquest Beacon is created within range.
Every sixty minutes, you will get random loot from the list below deposited to your grid's inventory if there is space, starting with the highest-value rewards your Conquest Beacon affords and moving down the list in value.
You will also receive Space Credits at a ratio of 10/point of Value.

The value of your claimed area will be primarily dependent on your fortress and fortifications. Every large grid block within 10km is worth 1 point of value, and every station block an additional 2, for 3 total per station block.
Maximum value from a single grid in range caps out at 16,000.
Your total Conquest Beacon value has no limit. Clustering and other rules still apply to Conquest gameplay.
