Following the massive mobilization towards the previously abandoned mining station, formally known as the Mausoleum Station, a violent energy surge was detected within the facility. Sensors recorded a massive thermal spike, consistent with a containment breach, before the station stabilized into an erratic, high-output pulse.
The area has since lit up with multiple unknown signatures, confirming a coordinated force is active in the sector. Since the station’s silhouette is still detectable despite the surge, the mission has shifted into a race to secure any accessible Laconian hardware and uncover their plans and technology.
When asked to provide context for the sudden interest in the facility, historical analysts noted that the Mausoleum was originally an unlicensed mining colony established by the Cassiopeia Collective, eventually becoming a "ghost station" after a lethal bacterial plague decimated the population. It remained a silent graveyard for decades until its recent, unauthorized reactivation.
The massive mobilization towards the aforementioned station has led to many pirate factions setting themselves up around the station, looking to strike a prize from the engineers attempting to assault the station.

¶ Station Mechanics and Gameplay
Mausoleum is an asteroid station located inside the DxMausoleum zone in the Kuiper Belt, serving as a King of the Hill (KotH) objective where players can obtain Carbon-Silicate Lace Plates.

¶ Zone Hazards
- The zone is actively patrolled by TTU, FNVY, and LCIN NPCs, which will attack both players and each other indiscriminately.
- The LCIN vessels are especially vicious and will chase players relentlessly. It is highly recommended to bring at least a moderately well-armed ship.
- Because the NPCs will attack each other, players can take advantage of this behavior by leading hostile ships into opposing NPC factions to avoid direct combat.
¶ Station Protections
- Mausoleum Station lies at the center of the zone and is protected from damage, grinding, and welding.
- Player grids are not protected from damage within this area.
- A safezone surrounds the station, which prevents new NPCs from spawning.
- While NPCs generally attempt to avoid the safezone, they can occasionally be unpredictable. It is highly recommended to either disable or lead NPCs away from the station before entering the safezone.
¶ Capturing the KotH
- To generate Mausoleum Control Chips, players must remain seated in a Large Grid within the 5km capture area around the station.
- A single player seated in a Large Grid will generate 25 Mausoleum Control Chips every 15 minutes.
- Having multiple players from the same faction seated in separate Large Grids decreases the overall time required to generate these chips.
- Once generated, the Control Chips can be collected from the Control Node inside of the station.
¶ Obtaining Carbon-Silicate Lace Plates
To obtain Carbon-Silicate Lace Plates, players must bring their generated Mausoleum Control Chips along with the following components: Repair Caches, Tool Packs, Power Cells, Iron Ingots, and Silicon Wafers (in the amounts shown below).
- These items must be sold to the store block located inside the station.
- The store will convert these materials into Carbon-Silicate Lace Plates, which players can then buy back after a short wait.
