The Sigma Draconis Expanse is a different breed of Space Engineers Servers run professionally by players like you!
Our official launch date for the Expanse server was December 11th, 2021, and we are excited to reveal more information about what the server will offer and how it will be different both from our existing, and prior instances as well as other non Sigma Draconis Servers.

¶ Server Description
Sigma Draconis is proud to present the Draconis Expanse Server. The Server is PvPvE, where PvP is fully enabled and NPCs are enabled in all slowzones.
This server is based upon the hit Sci-fi TV Series "The Expanse", and the books written by James. S.A Corey. If you haven't watched or read these yet, we highly recommend you do.
Those of you who are familiar with the Expanse universe will find some delightful similarities between that world and ours. Utilizing a heavily modified block set and a dedicated development team, we have been able to craft a Space Engineers environment that is designed to put you right in the seat of an up and coming belter.
You will start your experience in a standard issue OPA Rockhopper, and can choose from one of many starting zones. Including Vesta, Pallas and Tycho. Find your map in the main section of your ship and plan your path to greatness.

- Some of the main features of the game world include: The Asteroid Belt, Trade stations, the Ring Gate slow zone, and geographically variable difficulty enemy spawning.
- No Jump Drives as they have been replaced by Transit Zones where you will be able to travel up to 15,000m/s! While outside of these zones, you will be able to travel up to 500m/s or 750m/s depending on grid size and thrust to mass ratio, constant thrust is required for high speed.
- Ships have “drive signatures” that can be identified by other players from a significant distance according to the amount of heat they are currently shedding via thrust.
- Four types of thrusters for different kinds of maneuverability:
- Epstein Drives, highly efficient main thrusters for traveling
- Reaction Control thrusters for space maneuvering,
- Chemical combustion thrusters for combined space and atmosphere use
- Atmospheric thrusters (Small Grid only) for flying in atmospheric situations.
- Our own Custom Star Systems with Custom Ores, Modded Planets, and Moons.
- Scripting is enabled and monitored for the health of the server, simply ask for the role by pulling a ticket.
- Sigma Draconis Expanse Exclusive Blocks, Utility's, Models, Mechanics, and PVE Elements.
- 50k PCU Per Grid Limit, with reasonable utility block limits to keep server performance high.
